ViCare App

The ViCare app enables the system user to control their heating system via smartphone. The ViCare App offers the user a high level of comfort when operating the system. The app is oriented around the needs of the user and is therefore geared to their requirements.

  • Overview of the temperatures of the connected heating circuits. There are up to 3 heating circuits possible.
  • Direct setting of desired temperatures and heating times on heating circuit level or at single room control switched on at room operating level
  • Support with settings through intelligent assistance functions e.g. heating time assistant
  • Operation of hot water temperatures and times
  • Possibility to link to the specialist company
  • Push notification when a fault occurs in the heating system
  • Clear text error notification
  • Error notification in plain text
  • Voice control of the system via voice assistant possible (e.g. Amazon Alexa or Google Home)
  • Available functions depend on the Viessmann system used and its firmware version.

ViGuide guides you step by step through the commissioning process ensuring that all the necessary commissioning steps are carried out in full and in the correct order. With a wide range of functions, ViGuide enables better service and maintenance of the appliance. This optimises your workflow and makes service and maintenance even more customer-friendly for the system operator.     Internet interface for remote control of heating systems via the Internet ViCare app. Vitoconnectconnects to the Internet.

    Essential product features

  • Individual room control with the ViCare App. This requires the appropriate ViCare components such as ViCare climate sensor, ViCare floor thermostat or ViCare radiator thermostat are required
  • Support of Viessmann energy management for the heat pumps via EEBUS. This makes it possible to monitor the power and energy consumption.

    • Communication:

  • Via Optolink interface with the boiler circuit control
  • Via WLAN with the Internet
  • Via EEBUS

    • Connections:

  • Power cord with plug-in power supply
  • USB for connecting cable Optolink connection
  • WLAN communication to connect to the Internet

    • Scope of delivery:

    • Note!

  • Before commissioning, the system requirements for communication via the check local IP network / WLAN.
  • Port 443 (HTTPS) and port 123 (NTP) must be open and the SSID must be visible. Hidden WiFi cannot be connected.
  • The MAC address is printed on the label of the device.
  • A free internet connection with a data flat rate (time and flat rate independent of volume) recommended.
  • If communication via EEBUS is used, the individual room control function cannot be used.

    • Supported controls:

  • Controls of Viessmann heat generators with Optolink interface.

    • Note!

  • The Vitoconnect, type OPTO2 is not required for Viessmann appliances with an integrated communication module and appliances with the Viessmann One Base electronics platform.
