The Viessmann fan ring heater is an electric ribbon heater designed for retrofitting to the Vitocal 200-A ie outdoor unit in locations where persistent fog can occur at low outside temperatures.
Viessmann specifies the fan ring heater for regions where persistent fog occurs with outside temperatures below -6 °C.
